BIOGRAPHY:

Cherie is a dynamic presence, with a tremendous amount of energy. She has
been known to remodel people's homes on her lunch breaks, even though they
didn't ask her to. She translates ethnic slurs for Cuban refugees, writes
award-winning operas, and manages time efficiently. Occasionally, she holds
her breath for hours at a time just for fun. She can tame wild animals by
staring into their eyes and hypnotizing them. She can pilot bicycles up
severe inclines with unflagging speed, and cook Thirty-Minute Brownies in
twenty minutes. Cherie is an expert in stucco, a veteran in love, and wanted
in Peru. She is an abstract artist, a concrete analyst, and a ruthless
bookie. (just ask her son) Critics worldwide swoon over her original line of
corduroy evening-wear. She doesn't perspire. Cherie is a private citizen,
yet receives fan mail. She has been caller number nine and won the grand
prize. She bats 400 and her deft floral arrangements have earned her fame
in international botany circles. Children trust her. She balances, weaves,
dodges, frolics, and her bills are all on time. On weekends, to let off
steam, Cherie participates in full-contact origami. Years ago she discovered
the meaning of life but forgot to write it down. She has been known to make
extraordinary four course meals using only a pocket knife and a toaster
oven. She breeds prizewinning clams. She has won bullfights in San Juan,
cliff-diving competitions in Sri Lanka, and spelling bees at the Kremlin.
She has played Cleopatra, performed open-heart surgery, and spoken with
Elvis. But seriously now....
